Privacy policy

When you ask for a quote through the form on this site, we receive your name, email address, an optional phone number, the type of document, the language it is written in, an optional deadline, whatever you write in the notes, and the file if you choose to attach one.

We do not ask for passport numbers, tax identification numbers or payment details in the form. If your document contains them, that is because they were already in the document you are having translated.

Only to price the job, carry it out and deliver it, and to write back to you. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell or pass on your details for advertising.

Requests and attachments are kept in a secured backend rather than in an inbox, and uploaded files go into a private storage folder. Files are not published at a guessable link and cannot be listed by other visitors.

Access is limited to the people running the service and, once a job is placed, to the sworn translator assigned to it.

For as long as the order is open, and afterwards only where we have a reason to keep it — for example a certification that may have to be reissued, or records we are required to hold. Ask us and we will delete what we are able to delete.

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it removed. Write to hola@spainsworntranslations.com and we will handle the request. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies, so nothing follows you between sites. It does load its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google and your IP address is visible to them in the process.
